PhonoSDK Code Released on GitHub!

Less than 1 week after the world-wide launch of PhonoSDK at the jQuery Conference in Boston, we have decided to open source the technology to the world and post it on GitHub at http://github.com/phono/PhonoSDK!  It’s been released under the Apache2 software license.

We Open-Sourced Twelephone.com

Twelephone.com was written in a day by Chris Matthieu using the PhonoSDK.  It’s a simple Ruby on Rails application that supports Twitter OAuth and allows you to call your friends on Twitter for free.  Twelephone can place and receive browser-to-browser calls as well as 10 minute free browser-to-phone calls to US and Canadian numbers.  See our previous post for more technical information about the solution architecture.
